Ride On Routes to be Affected by
Marathon in the Parks Race

Seven Ride On bus routes will be delayed or detoured on Sunday morning, November 18, during the Marathon in the Parks race. The following routes will be affected during the times indicated:

Route 5 – From 8:26 to 10:38 a.m., there will be no service on Knowles or Strathmore Avenues between Connecticut Avenue and Rockville Pike.

Route 10 – From 8:15 to 10:10 a.m., there will be no service on Randolph Road between Viers Mill Road and Rocking Horse Road.

Route 26 – From 8:05 to 9:50 a.m., there will be long delays. No service will be provided between the intersections of Aspen Hill Road and Arctic Avenue, and Twinbrook Parkway and Viers Mill Road.

Route 35 – From 8:38 to 11:05 a.m., there will be long delays with detours on the Beltway. No service will be available on Cedar Lane between Beach Drive and Rockville Pike.

Route 57 – From 7 to 8:10 a.m., no service will be provided on Muncaster Mill Road between Shady Grove Road and Redland Road. No service will be available on Redland Road between Muncaster Mill Road and the Shady Grove Metro Station.

Route 59 – From 6 to 8 a.m., no service will be available between Indianola Avenue and Crabbs Branch Way and the Shady Grove Metro Station.

Route L8 – From 9 a.m. to 12:10 p.m., no service will be provided on Connecticut Avenue between Jones Bridge Road and East West Highway.
