Student Art to be Displayed
At Recreation Department;
Reception Planned for Exhibit Opening
A special reception to be held on November 26, from 7 to 8 p.m., will kick off the annual Montgomery County Youth Art Exhibit at the County’s Recreation Department headquarters, 12210 Bushey Drive, Silver Spring. More than 125 pieces of artwork by Montgomery County students will be on exhibit until the middle of December.
Sponsored by the Recreation Department, the exhibit is designed to encourage artistic expression and talent among students of all ages. It is open to students in grades K-12 at all schools in Montgomery County.
The exhibit, located on the second and third floors of the Recreation Department, will be open to the public Mondays through Thursdays from 8:30a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and on Fridays from 8:30a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
