County Names Public Libraries Administrator
New Assistant Chief Administrative Officer
Montgomery County Chief Administrative Officer Bruce Romer has announced the appointment of Parker Hamilton as an assistant chief administrative officer.
Hamilton currently manages the Public Services Division of the Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL). In her prior position, she served as public services administrator for Human Resources with MCPL.
Her new responsibilities will include managing the County Executive's Office budget and personnel system, overseeing human resource-related activities of the chief administrative officer, and serving as a liaison with certain County departments.
"I look forward to welcoming Parker to the management team," Romer said. "Her background in human resources administration and public service operations makes her well-suited for the position."
Hamilton will assume her new duties on December 10.
