RIDE ON SEEKS APPLICANTS
FOR TRANSIT ADVISORY GROUP

Montgomery County's Division of Transit Services is seeking Ride On bus customers to fill twelve positions on the Transit Advisory Group. The Group acts as a consumer advisory panel that serves as a sounding board and provides feedback on Ride On policies, services and programs.

County residents who regularly use Ride On and represent a broad range of interests, such as transit ridership advocacy, community advocacy, environmental issues, economic development, and issues concerning seniors and the disabled are urged to apply. Consideration will also be given to applicants representing different Ride On geographic service areas. Two bus operators will also serve as members of the advisory group. The term of membership is two years and meetings are held quarterly at the Executive Office Building in Rockville.

Interested applicants should submit the following information: Name, home address, day and evening telephone numbers, age, length of time using Ride On, frequency using Ride On, special contributions or qualifications, and any other background information.
