Duncan Seeks Applicants to Fill
Vacancies on Strathmore Hall
Foundation Board of Directors

County Executive Douglas M. Duncan is seeking applicants to fill two full-term vacancies on the Strathmore Hall Foundation Board of Directors. One incumbent is eligible to apply for reappointment. The purpose of the Board is to foster and support the development of the Strathmore Hall Arts Center for promoting and encouraging participation in and appreciation of the performing, literary and visual arts.

Members serve three-year terms without compensation and meet from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on the fourth Wednesday of alternating months at Strathmore Hall.

Applicants should write by March 12 to County Executive Douglas M. Duncan at the Executive Office Building, 101 Monroe Street, Rockville, MD 20850. A brief resume, including both home and work telephone numbers, should be included. Members of County boards, committees, and commissions may not serve on more than one such group at a time.

Duncan's appointments are subject to confirmation by the County Council. Applications of those selected for appointment are made public as part of the confirmation process.
