Information Workshop Planned
On Business Opportunities
With Silver Spring Redevelopment Project

Owners of small businesses that qualify as MFD (minority, female and disabled) are invited to learn about business opportunities with the Silver Spring redevelopment project at an information workshop on March 29. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Silver Spring Holiday Inn, 8777 Georgia Ave. Parking is available in the rear of the hotel.

The workshop is sponsored by the Silver Spring Regional Center, the Montgomery County Office of Procurement, the Small Business Development Center, the Department of Economic Development, The Foulger-Pratt Companies, The Peterson Companies, and the Silver Spring Chamber of Commerce.

Solicitations for bids for public and private construction activity are expected to be offered in the spring.
