The Montgomery County Board of Elections will be conducting special voter registration sites for citizens who wish to vote in the September 10 Gubernatorial Primary Election. The deadline for registering is 9 p.m. on August 20.
To become a registered voter in Montgomery County, an individual must be a U.S. citizen, reside in Montgomery County, and be at least 18 years of age on or before November 5.
Beginning August 16, individuals can register at the following locations:
City Place, 8661 Colesville Road, Silver Spring
Kohl’s at Milestone Center, 20918 Frederick Road, Germantown
Westfield Shoppingtown Montgomery Mall, 7101 Democracy Blvd., Bethesda
Rio Entertainment Center, 9811 Washingtonian Blvd., Gaithersburg
Sears White Oak, 11255 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring
Westfield Shoppingtown Wheaton, 11160 Veirs Mill Road, Wheaton
Board of Elections, 751 Twinbrook Parkway, Rockville
All registration sites will be open on the following dates and times: Friday, August 16, 6 – 9 p.m.; Saturday, August 17, 1 – 5 p.m.; Sunday, August 18, 1 – 5 p.m.; Monday, August 19, 6 – 9 p.m.; and Tuesday, August 20, 6 – 9 p.m.
Voter registration applications are available at post offices, libraries, public schools and all Montgomery College campuses. Applications can also be obtained at all Montgomery County regional services centers, health centers, MVA offices and the offices of Aging and Disability Services and Permitting Services.
