The public is invited to attend the next meeting of the Mid-County Action Group on September 19 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss Montgomery County Executive Douglas M. Duncan’s Go Montgomery! transportation plan, a balanced approach to relieving traffic congestion that will invest one billion in County funds over the next ten years and eight billion in additional state and Federal projects. The comprehensive initiative will invest in transit, roads, safety, and transportation demand management. Officials, including Montgomery County Department of Public Works and Transportation Go Montgomery! Director Art Holmes, will conduct an open discussion and answer questions.
The meeting will be held at the Mid-County Regional Services Center, located at 2424 Reedie Drive, Wheaton. The Center is between Georgia Avenue and Viers Mill Road, across from Dunkin' Donuts. Parking is available in a parking lot located across the street.
