COUNTY TO SPONSOR HIGH
SCHOOL DANCE AT STUDEBAKER'S
ON JUNE 24 AND 30 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: June 13, 1996
County youth organizers will hold dances for County students on Monday,
June 24 and Sunday, June 30, from 8 to 11:30 p.m., at Studebaker's, 1750
Rockville Pike, Rockville.
The dances are open to all Montgomery County high school students (high
school identification cards will be required). Music will be provided by a
local disc jockey and refreshments will be available.
Admission is $8, or $7 with a canned food donation. Space is limited and
reservations are recommended by calling 217-6090. Students requiring special
assistance, including transportation and financial aid, are encouraged to call
ahead.
The event is sponsored by the Montgomery County Youth Advisory
Committee, Studebaker's, City of Rockville Recreation and Parks, Montgomery
County departments of Health and Human Services and Recreation, and Drawing
the Line on Under 21 Alcohol Use.
