GETTING TO
WHEATON SPARKLES For Immediate Release: June 21, 1996
For those coming to the July 4 festivities in Wheaton by car, parking
will be available at lots throughout the downtown area, such as County Garage
45 at Amherst and Price avenues, lot 13 between Grandview Avenue and Triangle
Lane. .
Red Line Metro service brings riders to the Wheaton station which is
adjacent to both the downtown district and Wheaton Plaza.
Overflow parking is available at the Glenmont Metro Garage, with
connecting free Ride On shuttle service to downtown Wheaton from 6 to 11 p.m.
Handicapped parking is available in designated areas in Wheaton and at
Wheaton Plaza.
