PUBLIC WORKS STORM CLEANUP
COMPLETED                     For Immediate Release:  July 5, 1996
                                                         

     Montgomery County Department of Public Works and Transportation crews
have completed neighborhood pickups of debris caused by the severe storm on
June 25.
     Residents who still have storm debris remaining, are asked to bundle
tree limbs and branches in accordance with the County's solid waste recycling
procedures.  The bundles will be removed on their normal weekly pickup date. 
The debris can also be taken to the County's Solid Waste Transfer Station
located at 16101 Frederick Road in Derwood.
