ADVISORY GROUP TO HOLD HEARING
ON PROPOSAL TO PRIVATIZE RETAIL
LIQUOR OPERATIONS For Immediate Release: July 10, 1996
The Montgomery County Retail Liquor Operations Advisory Group will hold
a public hearing on Tuesday, July 16 at 7 p.m. to allow citizens to comment on
Montgomery County Executive Douglas M. Duncan's proposal to privatize County
retail liquor stores. The hearing will be held in the third floor hearing
room of the Stella Werner Council Office Building, 100 Maryland Avenue,
Rockville. Free parking is available in the garage next to the building.
Persons wishing to speak at the hearing will be limited to three minutes
for individuals and five minutes for persons representing organizations.
Written testimony will also be accepted at the hearing or may be sent to
Howard Cook, Retail Liquor Operations Advisory Group, 16650 Crabbs Branch Way,
Rockville MD 20855. Persons offering written testimony should submit 50
copies of the statement.
