FREE INTERNET SEMINARS
AT GAITHERSBURG PUBLIC LIBRARY
PROVIDE TIPS FOR PUBLIC USE For Immediate Release: Sept. 6, 1996
Tips on how to use the Internet more productively and presentations on
its value as an information and communications tool will be included in a
series of seven free seminars to be presented at the Gaithersburg Public
Library, beginning September 11.
Webmaster John Makulowich will demonstrate how to use the Internet
effectively, efficiently and productively as a professional and personal
communications tool.
Entitled "An Internet Day in the Life of .," the series
covers use of the Internet by parents, educators, students, executives,
scientists and investors, plus how to search for jobs.
The series in sponsored by the Gaithersburg Regional Library, Hewlett-
Packard Co. and Microframe Technologies, Inc.
Registration is not required, but attendance is limited to 200. All
programs will run from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The library is located at 18330
Montgomery Village Avenue.
