DUNCAN, POTTER TO HOST
POTOMAC TOWN MEETING For Immediate Release: September 27, 1996
Montgomery County Executive Douglas M. Duncan and County Councilmember
Neal Potter will host a Potomac Town Meeting on Wednesday, October 23, 8 p.m.
at the Potomac Community Center, 11315 Falls Road, Potomac.
Citizens are invited to participate in a one-hour discussion with the
two elected officials on countywide issues and subjects of concern in the
greater Potomac area.
Seating at the town meeting is limited, so citizens who would like to
participate are encouraged to arrive early.
The town meeting will be moderated by NewsChannel 8 reporter Bruce
DePuyt and videotaped by County Cable 55 for later airing on the County
government channel. Cable subscribers with cable-ready sets (which do not
require a converter box) can find County Cable 55 on channel 5.
Persons who need sign language interpretation or other accommodations to
participate in the town meeting are asked to call the Office of Public Infor-
mation at 217-6530 by Friday, October 18. The TDD/TTY number is 217-6563.
