       Montgomery County's home site on the Internet expanded this week with
  the addition of employment, and health and human services information.  County
  job vacancies, an application form, benefits and other employment information,
  along with a directory of health and human services, are now available 24-
  hours-a-day to citizens who have a home computer, modem, telephone line and an
  internet access provider.
       The new Office of Human Resources and Department of Health and Human
  Services web sites can be reached through the Montgomery County home page
  (http://www.co.mo.md.us) by clicking on the "Services" button and finding the
  agencies on an alphabetical listing of County service providers.
       The number of visits to the Montgomery County home site -- which was
  launched last December -- now exceed 1,700 a day.  To date, the most popular
  areas of the site include the "Services" section; the "About Your County" with
  its map, history and demographics; the "News" section, which offers press
  releases, media advisories and the County Cable 55 program schedule; County
  Council information, and a "Phone Book" with useful telephone numbers.
       Other popular features include an opportunity to e-mail the County
  Executive, traffic updates and bus schedules, and business development
  assistance.  The site is updated daily.
