CHRISTMAS TREE
VENDORS MUST BE LICENSED FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: November 1, 1996
As Christmas tree lots spring up around Montgomery County in time for
the holidays, tree vendors are reminded that they must be licensed by the
County's Department of Permitting Services (DPS).
The requirements of the law are explained in a free brochure entitled,
"Vendors: What you Need to Know" -- available from the DPS Office of Vending
Licensing and Review, or by calling (301) 217-6212. The office is located at
250 Hungerford Drive, 2nd Floor, Rockville, Md 20850.
