SCHOOLS USING COUNTY SCHOOL SPACE
SHOULD MAKE REQUESTS BY FEBRUARY 1
FOR PRIORITY CONSIDERATION For Immediate Release: Jan. 8, 1997
Community groups planning to use space in Montgomery County schools
between April 1 and June 30, 1997 should submit their requests between January
15 and February 1 to receive priority consideration.
Requests for weekday use -- including a completed Building Use Form,
check or money order payable to Montgomery County, Maryland, and a self-
addressed, stamped envelope -- should be submitted directly to the school
where space is requested.
Weekday and weekend use of athletic fields may also be scheduled
directly with the school. Because fields are in short supply, users are asked
to share fields for small group activities and youth practices whenever
possible. In order to avoid scheduling conflicts, Building Use Forms must be
submitted for all field use activities.
Requests for weekend and holiday use should be submitted, in person, to
the Community Use of Public Facilities office, 100 Maryland Avenue, Room 414,
Rockville, between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. (Monday through Friday). Staff will
assist in calculating fees. Please bring a check for full payment and a self-
addressed, stamped envelope.

County Public Schools and the Community Use of Public Facilities office. Call
