PUBLIC MEETING SET
ON PARK AND RIDE LOT,
PARK/GATEWAY IN DAMASCUS For Immediate Release: April 17, 1997
A public meeting will be held May 6 to discuss plans for construction of a 50-car
commuter parking lot and small park at the southeast corner of the intersection of MD
routes 108 and 124 in Damascus.
Officials will brief residents on the proposed concepts being considered for the site
and to receive input from citizens.
The County-owned site would serve commuters using the #90 Ride On bus. There are
currently approximately 20 to 30 boardings per day at the location.
The meeting, which will begin at 7:30 p.m., will be held in the Damascus Library,
located across from the proposed site.
