FOURTH OF JULY EVENT              97-183
NEEDS VOLUNTEERS                                      For Immediate Release:  June 10, 1997


     Volunteers are needed to hand out popcorn and souvenirs, staff the command center
and help with childrens activities, parking and other duties at Wheaton's Fourth of July
celebration.
     Events begin with entertainment in the urban district at 6:30 p.m., followed by
activities at Wheaton Plaza from 7:30 p.m. and fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
     Volunteers will be expected to work a two-hour shift.  They will each receive a t-shirt
and an assignment, with a description of their duties.
