BETHESDA KIWANIS MAKES
DONATION TO COUNTY
RECREATION DEPARTMENT              For Immediate Release:  June 20, 1997


     The Bethesda Kiwanis club recently donated $1,500 to the Montgomery County
Department of Recreation to help fund youth baseball and softball programs.  Since the early
1970's, the local organization has donated more than $45,000 to the department for youth
baseball, softball and lacrosse leagues.
