ICB  SEEKS VOLUNTEERS 
FOR SPEAKERS' BUREAU               For Immediate Release (July 23, 1997)


     The Interagency Coordinating Board is seeking adult volunteers to participate in its
new speakers bureau this fall for students in grades four through eight attending after-school
enrichment programs.  Individuals with special talents or experiences, and those working in
unique careers, are needed to share their experiences with youth.
     The speakers bureau will supplement after-school programming and bring adults from
the community to participating school sites for speaking engagements.  Subjects may include
travel, the arts, the business community, local or federal government, the media or any other
topic of interest.
