EASTERN COUNTY SERVICES CENTER
TO SPONSOR GENEALOGY COURSE        For Immediate Release: February 19, 1997



     A three-part beginner's course on genealogy will be sponsored by the Eastern
Montgomery Services Center and the East County Citizens' Advisory Board.  The first two
sessions will be held on March 4 and March 11, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the center, 13436 New
Hampshire Ave. in Colesville.  The third and final class will be a "hands on" session at the
National Archives in Washington, D.C. on March 18 at 6:45 p.m        
     The program, conducted under the auspices of the National Archives & Records
Administration (NARA) Volunteer Community Outreach program, will be taught by NARA
volunteer and advisory board member, John D. Bowen, a genealogical and military researcher.
     Class size is limited to 40 participants.  To register, call the Eastern Montgomery
