DUNCAN, POTTER TO HOST
BETHESDA-CHEVY CHASE
TOWN MEETING                  For Immediate Release:  February 27, 1997


     Montgomery County Executive Douglas M. Duncan and County Councilmember Neal
Potter will host a "Bethesda-Chevy Chase Town Meeting" on March 13 at 8 p.m. at the
Leland Community Center, 4301 Willow Lane, Chevy Chase.
     Residents are invited to participate in a one-hour discussion of area concerns with the
two elected officials.  Budget issues will be included, since  Duncan will release his FY 98
Operating Budget earlier that same day.
     Seating is limited, so participants are encouraged to arrive early.
     The Town Meeting will be videotaped by County Cable 55, the County government
cable channel,  for future airing on the channel.  Cable subscribers with cable-ready sets who
do not use a converter box can find County Cable 55 on channel 5.
     Persons who need sign language interpretation or other accommodations to participate
in the Town Meeting should call the Office of Public Information at 217-6530 (voice) or 217-
6563 (TTY/TDD) by March 10.
