CANDIDATE FILING DEADLINE APPROACHES

The Board of Supervisors of Elections notes that the deadline for candidates to file for the 1998 Primary Election is Monday, July 6, 1998, at 9:00 p.m.

Prospective candidates should note that the Elections Office will be closed on Friday, July 3, 1998, since the day has been designated as a County holiday in honor of Independence Day. The office will be open to accept candidate filings on Monday, July 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
