Spanish Edition of Montgomery County's
Landlord-Tenant Handbook Now Available

Montgomery County's Department of Housing and Community Affairs now has a Spanish edition available of its Landlord-Tenant Handbook.

The guide, entitled Manual Para Propietarios e Inquilinos, is designed to assist members of the Spanish speaking community with the many issues involved in the landlord-tenant relationship.

The English version of the handbook has been extremely well received since its publication in September 1998, according to County housing officials.

"We believe our Spanish speaking residents will find this guide very helpful when dealing with landlord-tenant matters," said DHCA Director Elizabeth Davison. "It serves as a quick reference guide for the public on the basic rights and responsibilities of landlords and tenants."

Landlord-Tenant Handbooks, in both language versions, are available in various locations, including libraries, community centers and at all three campuses of Montgomery College. For more information about the guide, call 301-217-7373.
