County Sponsors Executive Breakfast to Aid
Mid-Size Businesses in Sales and Marketing

Montgomery County's Department of Economic Development (DED) and the Montgomery County Business Resource Center are hosting an Executive Breakfast Seminar on Wednesday, February 10, from 8:15 to 10 a.m. at the Upcounty Regional Services Center in Germantown. The focus of the seminar is the "Executive's Role in Sales and Marketing".

Local business owners, CEOs, and sales and marketing directors will come together over a continental breakfast to hear ideas, strategies and recommendations on topics such as including sales staffing and training; incentive programs; creating new sources of revenue; and increasing customer-based profits, while growing customer loyalty.

Seminar presenters include: sales and marketing consultant Penny Kritt; Graphic Visions Associates owner Roger Berwanger; Dorothy Morua-Fernandes of Key Staffing Solutions; and Beth Smith, President of Baskets, Bags and Bashes, LLC. Overseeing the seminar are DeVance Walker, Jr., Manager of DED's Small Business Services, and Dan Rease, BRC Director.

The Business Resource Center is located in the Rockville Regional Library, at 99 Maryland Avenue, and provides a variety of services and resources to small, start-up or early-stage businesses. These services include one-on-one business counseling, access to a host of business guides and resources, computer and Internet access, and information on seminars and training.
