COUNTY HOSTS SEMINAR TO PREPARE
WOMEN FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CAREERS
The Commission for Women's Counseling and Career Center will present Preparing Women for Careers in Information Technology, a professional seminar for career specialists and educators, on Friday, November 5 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Montgomery College, Germantown Campus.
The Information Technology seminar will be held in Globe Hall, High Technology and Science Center, 20200 Observation Drive.
Attendees will find out about employment opportunities in Information Technology, with a special focus on women in the workplace. Participants can learn the terminology of the Information Technology field, hear about career options, meet specialists and leaders in high technology, and understand the issues facing women and students in Information Technology.
The Germantown Campus is accessible from the Shady Grove Metro Station by Ride-On bus, or parking is available in the campus visitors' lot.
