U.S. NAVY'S BLUEGRASS QUARTET
TO PERFORM IN "NIGHTS OF NOTES" SERIES
AT GAITHERSBURG REGIONAL LIBRARY

Traditional, contemporary and original bluegrass compositions will highlight the program to be presented by the United States Navy Band's Country Current bluegrass quartet on February 24 at the Gaithersburg Regional Library, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The acoustic ensemble has performed with the late Bill Monroe and appeared at bluegrass festivals around the country, including the Wintergrass Festival in Tacoma, WA and the International Bluegrass Association Convention "Showcase" in Owensboro, KY. The group has also been featured on TNN's "Nashville Now" and has performed at Opryland Park.

The concert is part of the library's free monthly "Nights of Notes" series. The library is located at 18330 Montgomery Village Avenue in Gaithersburg.
