Election Judges Needed
for 2000 Elections

Montgomery County's Board of Elections is seeking individuals to serve as election judges at polling places on Primary Election Day, March 7, 2000, and General Election Day, November 7, 2000.

In accordance with the Election Code, judges must be registered to vote in Montgomery County as a Democrat or Republican. They must also be able to speak, read and write the English language, and, while acting as a judge, must not hold or be a candidate for public or party office.

The Board is currently seeking more than 2,700 election judges. In addition, alternates are needed throughout the County. Training will be provided and all judges will be paid a minimum of $100 for Election Day.
