COUNTY HOSTS CONFERENCE FOR
ASIAN PACIFIC ELDERS
The Montgomery County Executive's Office of Community Outreach and the National Asian Pacific Center on Aging (NAPCA) are co-hosting a Capacity Building Conference for Asian Pacific Elders in Montgomery County. The conference will be held on Thursday, December 9 from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., in the lobby level auditorium of the Executive Office Building, 101 Monroe Street, Rockville.
The conference will include a keynote speech by County Executive Douglas M. Duncan. The purpose of the conference is to learn what the County can do to help Asian Pacific senior citizens utilize the services that are available to them and to teach them how to access social and health services. NAPCA is a nonprofit organization that advocates on behalf of Asian and Pacific Islander elders.
