County Sponsors Middle School Party
At East County Community Center

Middle school students in Montgomery County are invited to a party on December 10, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m., at the East County Community Center, 3310 Gateshead Manor Way, Silver Spring.

The "Winter Wonder Jam" party will include dancing, refreshments, sports activities, and games such as bouncy boxing, lasertag and sumo wrestling. The party is open to all Montgomery County middle school students. School identification cards will be required.

Admission is $4, or $3 with a canned food donation. Students requiring special assistance, including transportation and financial aid, are encouraged to make arrangements ahead of time by calling 240-777-6961.

The event is sponsored by the Montgomery County Youth Advisory Committee, the Montgomery County Department of Recreation, the East County Teen Club, and the Police Department's Silver Spring District, under a HotSpot Community Grant.
