Party Affiliation Change
Deadline for Registered Voters

Registered voters in Montgomery County who wish to change their affiliation from one party to another before the 2000 Primary Election must do so no later than 9 p.m. on Monday, December 13, 1999.

Voters who want to change their affiliation should send a written request to the Board of Elections, P.O. Box 4333, Rockville, MD 20849-4333. Requests should include the voter's full name, address, date of birth, new party affiliation and signature. The request must be received by the Elections Office no later than 9 p.m. on December 13.

The Elections Office, located at 751 Twinbrook Parkway, Rockville, will be open to the public until 9 p.m. on December 13 to accommodate those voters who wish to deliver their affiliation change in person.
