Volunteers Sought
For First Night Millennium Celebration
In Montgomery County

Local residents are invited to be part of Montgomery County's official millennium celebration by volunteering at First Night Montgomery to be held at the Fairgrounds on December 31. Student volunteers can receive School Community Service credit.

Volunteers are needed to work in two to three hour shifts between 3 p.m. and midnight. Positions are available as:

Hosts/Hostesses to greet and assist guests at entertainment venues;

Information Assistants to provide information, directions and other help as needed; or

Hospitality Center Helpers to welcome and provide assistance to other volunteers.

First Night Montgomery is the alcohol-free celebration of the arts sponsored by First Night Montgomery, Inc., with support from Montgomery County, the City of Gaithersburg and corporate sponsors such as GEICO and WUSA-TV (Channel 9).
