COUNTY BUSINESS RESOURCE CENTER
SPONSORS FREE SEMINARS FOR
PROSPECTIVE BUSINESS OWNERS

The Montgomery County Business Resource Center (located in the Rockville Regional Library) is sponsoring free seminars for prospective business owners in Montgomery County.

Classes are held the first and third Wednesday of each month from 10:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. The seminars are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and space is limited so advanced registration is required. Classes are held in the boardroom of the library, located at 99 Maryland Avenue in Rockville.

Seminar attendees are provided with a helpful kit of facts and forms, including a calendar of more advanced business courses offered at Montgomery College. Many frequently asked questions are answered in the literature that is distributed.

Speakers from the Business Resource Center and/or its eight agency partners share their expertise with the audience, and deflect some of the intimidation that exists when starting a business. Business cards of the counselors at the Business Resource Center are available at the end of the sessions, in case attendees need further one-on-one assistance.

The Start Right "Starting a Business" seminars are included in the BRC Small Business Services Calendar of Events produced by the Department of Economic Development. Other topics, some with a registration fee, are also available for small business owners.

For more information or to register, please call the Business Resource Center at (240) 777-2041.
