eDuncan Appoints Business Officials
To Economic Council Leadership Posts

Montgomery County Executive Douglas M. Duncan has appointed four local business officials to leadership positions on the Economic Advisory Council (EAC) of Montgomery County. The EAC is a 30-member body, charged with advising the County on economic development and fiscal issues.

Duncan appointed J. Stark Thompson, President of Life Technologies, Inc. to the newly created position of Vice Chair. Life Technologies, a leading biomedical supplier, is located on the County's 288-acre Shady Grove Life Sciences Center.

The County Executive also appointed three new members to the EAC's Executive Committee, to serve on this governing body with EAC Chair Laura Henderson and Thompson. New Executive Committee members include: Rachel King, Chief Executive Officer of Genetic Therapy; Charles Lyons, President and Publisher of Gazette Newspapers; and Anthony Natelli, Chairman of the Board of Natelli Communities.
