Battle of Bands Event To Be Held
In Rockville On March 20

Montgomery County Students Against Drunk Driving (SADD) will hold its annual Under-21 Battle of the Bands concert on Saturday, March 20, in the Executive Office Building cafeteria, 101 Monroe Street in Rockville from 7:00 to 11:30 p.m.

Music will be performed by area bands and a local disc jockey.

The event is open to all Montgomery County students in grades 9 through 12 with a school or other I.D. Admission is $5, or $4 with a canned food donation. Space is limited, and admission will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Students requiring special assistance, including transportation, are encouraged to contact the Department of Recreation at 301-217-6090.

In addition to SADD, the event is sponsored by the Montgomery County Youth Advisory Committee; the County departments of Recreation, Health and Human Services, and Public Works and Transportation; Mothers Against Drunk Driving; Drawing the Line on Under 21 Alcohol Use; and the City of Rockville Department of Recreation and Parks.
