White Oak Area Planning Meeting
To Be Held March 25
The public is invited to a meeting to discuss the needs and concerns of the White Oak community on Thursday, March 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the White Oak Library, 11701 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring. Among the issues to be discussed include the future of the White Oak Master Plan and redevelopment of the Federal Research Center.
The meeting, sponsored by the Eastern Montgomery Regional Services Center and the White Oak Working Group of the East County Citizens Advisory Board, will include an update on the consolidation of the Food and Drug Administration campus by Congressman Albert R. Wynn; along with presentations by Greg Riegle with Sunrise Assisted Living, and David Parrish with Heartlands at White Oak.
The meeting is the second in a series of public forums designed to obtain community input into addressing emerging issues and proposed projects in the White Oak area.
