CAREER CENTER
OPEN FOR PARENTS For Immediate Release: April 22, 1996
The Sherwood High School Career Center will provide an opportunity for
parents to meet with guidance and center staff during programs in April and
May.
On Wednesday, April 24 and May 22, from 7 to 9 p.m., the discussions
will focus on student career/college searches and career center resources.
On Saturday May 18, from 9 to 11 a.m., parents can discuss course
planning and class registration.
The Open Career Center is sponsored by the Community Education
Roundtable, the offices of the Community Use of Schools and the Sherwood High
School Guidance Department and Career Center. The program is funded through
the Maryland State Department of Education School Community Centers Program.
