COUNTY TO SPONSOR SUPER BOWL
PARTY & DANCE FOR TEENS FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: January 22, 1996
County youth organizers will hold a Super Bowl Party and dance for
County students on Sunday, January 28, from 8 to 11:30 p.m., at Studebaker's,
1750 Rockville Pike, Rockville.
The party is open to all Montgomery County high school students (high
school identification cards will be required). A large television screen will
be provided for students to watch the game, and a local disc jockey will play
music for dancing. Refreshments and prize
s for contests will also be provided.
Admission is $8, or $7 with a canned food donation. Space is limited and
reservations are recommended by calling 217-6090. Students requiring special
assistance, including transportation and financial aid, are encouraged to call
ahead for assistance.
The event is sponsored by the Montgomery County Youth Advisory
Committee, Studebaker's, City of Rockville Recreation and Parks, Montgomery
County departments of Health and Human Services and Recreation, and Drawing
the Line on Under 21 Alcohol Use.
