COUNTY PLANS WORKSHOPS
ON COMPOSTING, GRASSCYCLING For Immediate Release: March 29, 1996

     Residents who are tired of spending too much time and money making their
yards look good can learn how to take the "work" out of yard work by attending
any one of a series of free Compost Workshops to be held throughout the
County.
     Conducted by America's Compost King, Joe Keyser, the 50-minute programs
feature information on proper mowing, watering and fertilizing techniques; how
to transform leaves, grass and garden trimmings into nutrient-rich compost;
and how to use a compost bin to grow crops of tomatoes and other vegetables.
     Compost bins will be available at all sites for five dollars.
