CIVIL RIGHTS ATTORNEY TO
ADDRESS FAIR HOUSING ISSUES For Immediate Release: March 28, 1996
In commemoration of Fair Housing Month, Montgomery County's Interagency
Fair Housing Coordinating Group is sponsoring an upcoming presentation on
legal trends concerning the issue, by civil rights attorney, John Relman, Esq.
The discussion will be part of the group's regular monthly meeting on
Thursday, April 18, at 9 a.m., in the lobby auditorium of the Executive Office
Building, 101 Monroe Street, Rockville. The public is invited to attend.
Also, on April 15 at 1 p.m., the Montgomery County Association of
Realtors will host a seminar on fair housing. The seminar will be held at the
association's headquarters, 1355 Piccard Drive, Rockville. To register or for

The County Executive and County Council will officially proclaim April
as Fair Housing Month in Montgomery County at the beginning of the Council's
April 2 session. The cities of Rockville and Takoma Park issued similar
proclamations at their council meetings earlier this week.
