HOLIDAY SCHEDULE CHRISTMAS DAY
AND NEW YEAR'S DAY                 For Immediate Release (Dec. 14, 1995)

	Montgomery County government will observe the following holiday schedule
 for Christmas Day, December 25 and New Year's Day, January 1:

	County Offices  -- closed

	Libraries -- closed 

	County liquor stores --  closed

 	Ride-On -- Sunday schedule 

	Metrobus -- Sunday schedule 
              
	Metrorail -- Sunday schedule 

	Parking at public garages, lots, curbside meters -- free

	Trash -- no collection

	Transfer Station -- closed

	BOE Administrative Offices and schools -- closed December 25 through
			January 1, 1996

	Housing Opportunities Commission -- closed

	Social Services -- closed 
 
	State offices & courts -- closed
