LIQUOR ADVISORY GROUP
TO MEET MAY 2                 For Immediate Release: April 26, 1996


     The Montgomery County Retail Liquor Advisory Group will hold its first
organizational meeting on Thursday, May 2, at 7 p.m. in the 15th floor
conference room of the Executive Office Building, 101 Monroe Street,
Rockville.
     The 17-member group, chaired by Joseph T. Healy, Jr., is charged with 
providing County Executive Douglas M. Duncan with an implementation plan and
schedule for getting the County out of the ownership of retail liquor stores.
     The meeting is open to the public, however, space is limited.
