VOLUNTEERS SOUGHT TO BATTLE
PROBLEM OF ILLEGAL SIGNS      For Immediate Release:  February 28, 1996



     Want to help enhance the look of your community and help promote public
safety?  You can do so by becoming a Montgomery County "sign volunteer."
     The County is seeking volunteers who are interested in learning about local
sign regulations and in helping to educate others in the community about them. 
Volunteers can also help to remove signs which are posted illegally in road
right-of-ways.
     All necessary training will be provided by staff from the County's
