SILVER SPRING REDEVELOPMENT BOARD
TO PRESENT RECOMMENDATIONS
AT TWO UPCOMING PUBLIC MEETINGS For Immediate Release: Feb. 6, 1996
The Silver Spring Redevelopment Advisory Board will present its draft
recommendations concerning the proposed "American Dream, A Town Center for
Silver Spring" project at two upcoming public meetings. The first will be
held on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 7:30 p.m., at Armory Place, 925 Wayne Avenue, Silver
Spring and the second will be held on Thursday, Feb. 15, 7:30 p.m., at East
Silver Spring Elementary School, 631 Silver Spring Avenue, Silver Spring.
The advisory board, which was appointed by Montgomery County Executive
Douglas M. Duncan for the purpose of reviewing and evaluating the proposed
American Dream project, is scheduled to present its final report and
recommendations to the County Executive on February 22.
