DUNCAN, EWING TO HOST
MID-COUNTY TOWN MEETING For Immediate Release: January 26, 1996
Montgomery County Executive Douglas M. Duncan and County Council
President Gail Ewing will host a "Mid-County Town Meeting" on February 7, at
7:30 p.m. at the Wheaton Community Recreation Center, 11711 Georgia Avenue.
The mid-county area includes Aspen Hill, Brookeville, Kensington, Norbeck,
Olney, Sandy Spring and Wheaton.
Residents are invited to participate in the one-hour discussion with the
two elected officials on countywide and local issues and subjects of concern.
Seating is limited, so those who would like to participate as a member
of the audience are encouraged to arrive early.
The Town Meeting will be videotaped by County Cable 55 for airing later
on the County government channel. Cable subscribers with cable-ready sets who
do not use a converter box can find County Cable 55 on channel 5.
Persons who need sign language interpretation or other accommodations to
participate in the Ton Meeting should call the Office of Public Information at
217-6530 (voice) or 217-6563 (TTY) by January 31.
