*** New*** Brush Truck Written Exams

Brush Truck Candidates must take the Brush Truck Written Exam on the Apparatus Written Exam days found on the Driver Training Exams page. Brush Truck exams will not be given on the same day as the Practical exam.

The Driver Training Office Is Going PAPERLESS!

Use the new online Driver Training Application form to request training status on EMS, Brush, Engine, Tanker, Aerial, or Rescue apparatus.

Supervisors -- Email the Driver Training Coordinators a copy of completed Certification Checklists. Please do not send a hard copy via interoffice mail.

The Spring 2023 Driver Training courses are updated and posted.  Class B, Class A, and EVOC Candidates may register via OTRS or their designated Training Representative once OTRS is updated.

2022 Pierce Ascendant Aerial Training Materials

Orientation and familiarization materials are now available.  A separate web page for the reference materials has been created to assist members with locating the information they require to orient themselves to the new apparatus.  Members should periodically check back to ensure they have all of the updates as information continues to be received and disseminated.

   The form is broken into 4 sections:
     1.   Competencies
     2.   Signature Checklist
     3.   Check Off Matrix
     4.   Driving Log
   Write the Unit ID, Stock #, Make, and Year of your target Aerial on Page 1
   Identify your check off requirements using the Check Off Matrix
   Complete the Competencies, Drive Time, and requirements outlined by the matrix
   Record your process on the form
   Submit the form with hard copies going to the distribution list
     outlined on the Signature Page.
