Corporate Citizen Program
Since 1997, Washingtonians have watched as tremendous changes have taken place in Silver Spring. Corporate residents include some of Montgomery County’s most prestigious tenants such as Discovery Communications and the American Film Institute. Silver Spring retail has changed with the AFI Silver Theatre, Whole Foods Market, The Majestic Theater…part of Consolidated Theater Corp., Strosniders Hardware, and an array of restaurants, retail and other entertainment venues that have forever changed the look, feel and heart of Silver Spring. With the Silver Plaza’s dazzling fountain and nightlife, Silver Spring is attracting residents from around the County.
We are proud to invite you to participate in an ambitious on-going project to strengthen Silver Spring, and we need your help to continue to create the type of community entertainment and civic programs that define great urban centers. Corporate involvement is the only way to build our community and project Silver Spring’s true image – a great place to do business, as well as to live, work, shop, and play.
Silver Spring events are attended and supported by many political and business leaders, and receive coverage and promotion from every major media outlet in the city.
Think of Celebrate Downtown Silver Spring as a wonderful opportunity for your organization to:
build on the successful business downtown environment
allow 200,000 community members to enjoy fabulous family events
take part in an extensive on-going media and field marketing campaign
Contributions to the Corporate Citizen Program are tax deductible (subject to applicable tax regulations). For additional information, please feel free to contact me 301-565-7300.
On behalf of the citizens of Montgomery County, thank you.
