Citizens Advisory Board

This Board discusses and acts on a wide range of issues that affect the Silver Spring Region, which includes the west-east area between Rock Creek Park & the Prince Georges County line, & the north-south boundary of I-495 & the District of Columbia, including all of the City of Takoma Park, & all of Four Corners, including the Four Corners neighborhoods north of I-495.

Neighborhoods Committee Meeting

The Neighborhood Committee handles matters pertaining to the quality of life in
neighborhoods, including, but not limited to public health planning, community
redevelopment, school-community relations, housing, education, the Arts, and the natural     environment in the region.
 
Commercial Economic Development Committee
Chair:  Jessica Fusillo   

Co-Chair:  Susan Suzy
                                                                             
The committee works on issues affecting Silver Spring’s Commercial sector, including issues pertaining to redevelopment.
 
Transportation/Pedestrian Safety Committee
Chair:  Darian Unger 

Co Chair:  Daniel Morales   

The committee meets to discuss and act on traffic, road conditions, transportation projects,    pedestrian safety and related issues within the Silver Spring region.


The full Board meets the second Monday of each month , 7:00 pm.  All Committees meet on the fourth Monday of the month, 7:30 pm.  Meetings are held in the Silver Spring Civic Building, One Veterans Place.  Parking is available at the Town Square Garage
