Project Description:

The Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad (WVRS) is planning to relocate from its existing facility to a new two-story 29,000 gsf facility located at the corner of Georgia Avenue and Arcola Avenue. The facility will be a Class 1 Rescue Station with 7,400 sf of community room and kitchen on the upper floor. This is a participation project with the County to contribute approximately 50% of the total cost of the project.

Project Status:

The project documents have been approved by the Department of Permitting Services for Building Permit. WVFS is in the process of negotiating bids from qualified construction companies..
